Over the last couple of years, I have come to the unfortunate (and possibly overdue!?…) conclusion that a LOT of “church-going people” are the most hypocritical, blind, fake imbeciles on the planet!
From what I used to identify to, love and care about… To what I have come to resent and loathe: that “churchy” Christianity. That is to say, In Western, privileged, wealthy countries anyway. I’m guessing peeps will be more modest and rely more on true deeper Faith, in developing lands, where prayer is badly-needed. In times of struggles, times of uncertainty, where do we stand; if the so-called religious people cannot love and support their brethren; whilst pretending to be “inclusive“ of all men??… Christmas is near: and the old adage of “helping the poor and the homeless” comes creeping back in. But what does this empty hashtag really mean, when it just serves as a gold mantelpiece for the socially-privileged?!… Jesus used to wash people’s feet, you selfish, blatant liars! Why on Earth can’t you do the same for one another?… |
